Me, my hobby and my website

My name is Beat Burri and it's great that you've landed on my website. Born in 1963, I've been able to experience, learn and achieve a lot. After more than a decade of waiting, I'm finally the happy owner of the domain www.jabiru.ch and that's how this website came about.

Photography is a hobby of mine and, in connection with my passion for "nature", an ideal symbiosis. I love using my photos to capture and show small things that the eye cannot see when out in nature. Maybe I can encourage people to go out into nature and consciously enjoy it.

Why Jabiru? In 1997 I was able to visit Australia for the first time and the name has been with me ever since. Jabiru is a place in Kakadu National Park and since that visit, Jabiru has been like home to me.

Regarding data protection: general statistics are created in my hosting at Hosttech. However, I am interested in my website content. Therefore, this data is neither analyzed nor used for anything else!
